Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant studies in HR

At least  3 – 5 years’ experience in the HR and recruitment field

Ability to self-manage - work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Proficient in MS Office

Experience within the oil and gas industry would be an asset


Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline

Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, performing phone screenings and perform reference checks as needed

Manage onboarding and new hire process

Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process

Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Manage the Facebook page and other recruiting software - check every application, respond to all messages

Maintain relationships with key interface personnel within client organization

Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates

Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers

Follow protocols and procedures in producing necessary and appropriate documentation

Stay current on National Industry staffing trends and requirements – and impact on local market

Consistently attain and contribute to individual, team and company goals

Be flexible, dynamic, goal-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while performing multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities.

Possess excellent time management and organizational skill

Liaising with all employees and being their point of contact – handling and resolving HR related issues and weekly employee check ins

Timesheet follow ups, reminders and reviews

Assist in physical logistics when needed with immigration

Send out recruitment proposals

Develop and document HR systems for improvement

Live videos for NSB’s social media pages and that can be featured on tv shows and social media
